Background
J-147 has much promise as a future Alzheimer’s treatment candidate and current studies display anti-aging effects, neuroprotective effects, pro-cognitive effects, melanin inhibition and more. As opposed to compounds targeting amyloid plaques, J-147 promotes cellular proliferation and health. This may be mediated, in part, by a strong antioxidant effect.
