Background
Fasoracetam is a member of the racetam family that was designed first to treat vascular dementia and later ADHD.[1] It is unique from other candidates that are primarily dopaminergic and acts on mGluRs.[1] The results were positive for ADHD at 100mg+, but negative for vascular dementia.[1] Still, mGluR mutations affect a significant portion of ADHD sufferers, making Fasoracetam a very targeted treatment.[1] One rodent study suggests upregulation of GABAB receptors is responsible for its antidepressant effects.[3] We hope to encourage research by allowing researchers to buy Fasoracetam.
Pharmacokinetics
Fasoracetam’s oral bioavailability is 79-97%, meaning it is very well absorbed.[2]
